In the first episode, we discussed the ever-popular question, “What is the core role of the data scientist?” Over a decade after “data science” made its way to the mainstream of tech, data science remains highly cross-functional and it’s not always easy to discern the centre of what a data scientist needs to do. We unpack some common data science roles and look at how they relate to other specialisations in the data space.
